The identity conflict

Part of what we become stems from what we often do. They form the components of our identity. Often, we do not get the results we desire because we contradict our identity with our actions.

This means that a change in behaviour or action leads to a shift in identity. When we sway from what truly defines us – our beliefs, our values, and our principles – then we are no longer defined by what we are known for.

The truth is, we may never reach the state of attaining what we want if our actions do not reflect who we truly are and what we want to become.

To resolve this conflict, our actions must align with our identity.
